What is Outcomes?

Outcomes lets you predict the results of real-world events. For example, "The overall champion of the 2026 football competition" is an event with markets such as "Brazil to win," "Argentina to win," and "France to win" — you can predict the event's outcome based on your own judgment.

How do I use Outcomes?

Step 1: Access Outcomes

Open the OKX App, find the Outcomes entry in the homepage banner, and tap to enter.First-time users need to complete an account initialization process — this isn't required on subsequent visits.

Step 2: Browse and select events

Once inside, first take part in a campaign to receive OKX Campaign Points (xp). After receiving xp, browse events by category or use the search bar to find events of interest. Tap an event to open its detail page, where you can view:

  • Event description

  • Settlement rules

  • Current Yes/No prices

  • Order book depth

  • Trading volume

  • Event end time

  • Current settlement status

Note: before placing an order, read the event description and settlement rules carefully to make sure you understand how the result will be determined.

Step 3: Choose a direction and place an order

  1. Select a market

  2. Choose a direction:

    1. Yes — you think the outcome will happen

    2. No — you think it won't

  3. Select an order type — tap Market or Limit:

    1. Market order: fills as quickly as possible at the current available market price

    2. Limit order: you set a price, and the order can only fill when the market reaches that price or better

  4. Enter the amount or number of shares

  5. If supported on the page, set an order validity period

  6. Confirm the price, quantity, and estimated cost, then tap the order button


After you place an order:

  • If it fills immediately, it appears in your Positions

  • If it hasn't filled yet, it appears under Open orders

Step 4: Manage positions

After your order fills, you can view the following in the Positions tab:

  • Direction

  • Number of shares

  • Average entry price

  • Current profit/loss

To exit before the event settles, tap Sell and place a sell order following the on-screen prompts. Once the sell order fills, your position decreases and the corresponding xp returns to your balance.If your order hasn't filled yet, select Open Orders to view it.To cancel an order, select Cancel. Once cancelled, the locked xp is released automatically.

Step 5: Await settlement

After an event ends, the system settles automatically based on the final result — no manual action is required.Settlement rules:

  • Winning direction: settles at 1 xp per share

  • Losing direction: settles at 0 xp per share

After settlement, your profit or loss is automatically updated in your balance.If a campaign includes a leaderboard or additional rewards, rewards will be distributed according to the campaign rules after the campaign ends and credited to your account automatically.
